Nueva Andalucia stands as the largest residential district within Marbella, encompassing a vast expanse of several square kilometers. This vibrant neighborhood was brought to life by Madrid-based developer Jose Banús Masdeu, who arrived in Marbella in 1962 and acquired the land. The construction of Puerto Banús commenced in 1965, and by 1968, it had been inaugurated.
